Sofwave emits seven parallel ultrasound beams that create a uniform zone of heat in the mid-dermis, the layer where collagen and elastin live. Built-in cooling protects the skin surface throughout, so the treatment is comfortable and there is no visible wound or downtime.
Because it works at one consistent depth, Sofwave is fast and predictable: a full face usually takes 30–45 minutes. The heat triggers the skin's natural repair process, and new collagen and elastin build over the following 1–3 months for smoother, firmer skin.
