How Sofwave Body works
Sofwave delivers controlled ultrasound energy in parallel beams to create precise thermal zones in the mid-dermis, the collagen-rich layer of the skin, while protecting the surface. The skin responds by remodelling collagen and producing new elastin and hyaluronic acid, so it becomes firmer and smoother over the following weeks.
Because it works at around 1.5mm, Sofwave focuses on skin quality and tightening rather than fat reduction. By comparison, Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency for broad dermal heating, and Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound at deeper layers for structural lifting.
