Acne Facials in Myeongdong, Seoul
Customised medical acne facials that combine deep cleansing, extractions, peels and soothing care to calm breakouts and keep pores clear.
What is an acne facial? An acne facial is a clinic treatment that goes beyond surface cleansing to clear clogged pores, remove blackheads and whiteheads, and calm inflamed skin. At Kleam it is customised to your skin type and acne severity and can include deep pore cleansing, sebum control, extraction, a peel and a soothing mask with LED. Basic acne care at Kleam Clinic Myeongdong starts from ₩99,000.

How an acne facial works
Acne develops when oil, dead skin cells and bacteria block the pores and cause inflammation. An acne facial tackles each step: deep pore cleansing removes oil build-up and bacteria, sebum control care helps balance oil production, and careful extraction or a peel clears stubborn blackheads and whiteheads. The session ends with a soothing mask and LED therapy to reduce redness and inflammation.
Every treatment is customised to your skin and is performed with medical-grade products and equipment. For more inflamed or persistent acne, your doctor may add options such as anti-inflammatory injections, a medical peel (for example Aladin or VSM peel) or an acne-mode laser. Because breakouts recur, a short course of sessions usually works better than a single visit.

Acne facials in Seoul: frequently asked questions
Clear answers to what international guests ask most before booking.
How many acne facials do I need?
One session can calm a flare-up and clear congestion, but acne tends to recur, so a course of several sessions every 1–2 weeks is usually recommended. Your doctor will suggest a plan.
Do extractions hurt?
Extractions can feel uncomfortable for a moment, but they are done carefully and hygienically. Telling the therapist if anything is too sensitive helps keep the session comfortable.
Will my skin be red afterwards?
Some redness is normal after extractions or a peel and usually settles within hours to a day. You can usually return to normal activities straight away.
Is an acne facial suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The treatment is customised, and gentler cleansing and soothing steps can be used for sensitive or easily irritated skin.
Can acne facials treat acne scars?
Acne facials target active breakouts and congestion. Indented scars need other options such as microneedling or laser; see our acne scar treatment guide.
Can I have an acne facial during a short trip?
Yes. A session takes around an hour and has little downtime, so it fits easily into a short stay in Seoul.
