Chemical Peels in Myeongdong, Seoul
A doctor-selected exfoliating peel that removes dull surface cells to help with uneven tone, clogged pores, mild lines and dark spots, with consultation first and English-speaking support.
What is a chemical peel? A chemical peel applies an exfoliating acid solution to the skin to remove the top layer of dead skin cells. Depending on the formula (for example AHA, BHA, a pigment-focused Mela peel or a Jessner’s peel), it can brighten dull or uneven tone, help acne and clogged pores, soften fine lines and fade hyperpigmentation. At Kleam Clinic Myeongdong your doctor chooses the peel for your skin type at consultation.

How Chemical Peels works
Exfoliating acids loosen the bonds between dead cells on the skin surface so they shed more evenly. Lighter peels such as AHA (good for brightening and dry or sensitive skin) or BHA (oil-soluble, suited to acne-prone and oily skin) work on the very top layer and usually have minimal downtime.
Stronger formulas reach a little deeper. A Mela peel targets pigmentation and melasma and may cause 1–3 days of flaking, while a Jessner’s peel gives deeper exfoliation for acne scars and rough texture, with around 2–5 days of peeling. As the old layer clears, newer skin comes through with improved texture and tone; a series of sessions is often recommended.
