How Onda lifting works
Microwave energy is absorbed mainly by fat tissue, so Onda can heat and reduce fat cells while the surface is protected by contact cooling. The heat also stimulates collagen in the connective tissue, so the skin tightens as the area slims.
The amount of energy is measured in kilojoules (kJ). A lower-face treatment typically uses 40–80kJ, while larger areas or stronger results use more. The energy is set according to how much fat and laxity you have, and many guests combine Onda with a HIFU lift such as Shurink or Ultherapy for slimming and lift in one visit.
